have you used any of these? anything close to full photoshop functionality
I have a new laptop coming - would love not to have to buy photoshop again. concept of a web based photo editor kind of scares me though. what happens when my ISP craps out? when the web service takes it servers down for maintenance at 3AM when I'm in the middle of creating graphics for my web site?
and most importantly how much do they cost and can they make PDFs (adobe's online PDF service costs $10 a month and doesn’t have all the functionality of Acrobat just as photoshop express doesn’t do layers). who the hell does real graphics w/o layers?
These are all great questions. I've tried most of these and the bottom line is, "It ain't no Photoshop".
In other words, there is only limited functionality and, as you note, it's all dependent on a solid internet connection.
However, I must say, I was pretty darn impressed (especially with the free Adobe site). All the basics are covered. So, for basic every-day editing these services work fine. But when I am doing "artwork" or complex graphics then I use Photoshop.
